Coming Together as a Community
This annual event welcomes The Community Chest's friends and supporters to an evening of fun and philanthropy. With the theme, “Coming Together as a Community”, the evening is designed to fulfill the mission of the organization’s founders more than 80 years ago. Their vision was to fill a chest with individuals and businesses' generous contributions and to empty its contents by awarding grant funds to support worthy projects led by local nonprofits in Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs. Each year, The Community Chest carries out this mission with increased generosity to help people in need in these communities.
