Community Meets Englewood Police Officers, Firefighters At National Night Out
Emergency workers met with residents and showed off their vehicles at the annual event.
ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The Police and Fire Departments hosted the city's annual National Night Out event.
Officers, firefighters and first responders were at Mackay Park in an effort to foster a better a relationship met with members of the community and increase awareness about community policing efforts and drug prevention initiatives, among other programs.
National Night Out is nationwide event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch in the United States and Canada. The event is designed to foster better relationships between residents and first responders.
