Dinner Stars Local Author Stoever

Local woman remembers wartorn childhood in Germany in memoir. She will discuss her history at a dinner at a private home in Englewood.

Women's Diversity Book Group -- cosponsored by Women's Rights Information Center and Englewood Public Library -- will hear neighbor, memoirist and painter Renate Stoever discuss her memoir Escape From Plauen -- A True Story following a dinner at a private home in Englewood on Tuesday, April 26, starting at 6:00 p.m. The Group always welcomes new participants. For information, call Nancy at 201 424 4817. The book is about a young German girl whose town is bombed during World War II and who suffers the ravages of war but survives to live a good life.
