Dog's 'Emaciated' Corpse Found In Bergen County Home
Dog appeared to be left alone in the Northvale home for an 'extended period of time,' police said.

Bergen County authorities are investigating the death of a dog in a vacant home in Northvale.
Police officers found the ”emaciated” corpse of a large dog in a home that had “deplorable” conditions, Chief William Essmann said.
The dog may have been left alone for an extended period of time and might have eaten couch cushions because there was no food left in the home, Essmann said.
