Downtown Englewood Business, House Sold For Redevelopment
The South Dean Street properties will bring 'an exciting new development project' to downtown Englewood, the broker's representative said.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A downtown business and house have been sold for a future redevelopment project.
The real estate firm NAI Hanson brokered the transaction for Englewood Auto Spa and an adjacent two-story house at 229 and 231 South Dean St., the firm announced recently.
The property offers "significant redevelopment opportunities" because of the local demographics and its location near to Route 4 and the New Jersey Turnpike, NAI said in a statement.

“The lack of easily developable land in Bergen County makes redevelopment sites like 229 and 231 South Dean Street rare in this market,” said Anthony Cassano, who represented both the buyers and sellers in both transactions. "This sale will bring an exciting new development project to Englewood while providing the buyer with a strong value-add investment property.”
NAI Hansen did not say how much the properties were sold for, nor did the firm state what could possibly be built on the property.
