Dr. Jonathan Simhaee Joins The Center for Spinal Disorders and The Center for Pain Management

Englewood, NJ, September 16, 2014 - Dr. Jonathan M. Simhaee, an expert in pain management with a specialty in treating spinal disorders, has joined the staff of The Center for Spinal Disorders and The Center for Pain Management.

Dr. Simhaee is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Fellowship trained in Spine and Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Simhaee’s expertise, also known as pain medicine, is a combination of various scientific disciplines as well as the healing arts to systematically address pain through prevention, evaluation, diagnosis and treatment, as well as the rehabilitation of painful disorders.

Dr. Simhaee received his undergraduate degree from the prestigious Yeshiva University, a major national research university, from which he graduated with a Bachelor in Sciences in the field of Biology and earned degrees in Sociology and Judaic studies.

He completed his undergraduate studies in three years time and then attended the Sackler School of Medicine in Ramat Aviv, Israel, to continue his medical education. It was there that Dr. Simhaee was introduced to the field of Physiatry. Physiatrists, or rehabilitation physicians, are nerve, muscle, and bone experts who treat injuries or illnesses that affect how you move.

In 2009, Dr. Simhaee returned to the U.S. to join Nassau University Medical Center where he completed a preliminary year of Internal Medicine. Dr. Simhaee then joined the world-renowned Rusk Institute located at the NYU Langone Medical Center, and its various affiliations, where he embarked on a formal training in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

With an emphasis on the integrity of the Spine and Pain Management, Dr. Simhaee then completed an Interventional Pain Management fellowship in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, where he was recognized for his outstanding rapport with his patients. This was exemplified when he became the recipient of the “Best Hands” award.

The Center for Spinal Disorders, located in Englewood, NJ and Rego Park and Brooklyn, NY, is dedicated to providing a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for back pain and spinal disorders. This includes both non-operative and operative treatments.
