Englewood Gets 'A-' On New Town Report Card Analysis

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — The city received an A- grade in the latest "Best Places to Live" rankings from Niche.com.

The consumer rankings service assigned a grade, on an A+-to-D- scale to nearly every municipality in the state. Niche took several factors into consideration, such as the quality of local schools, crime rates, housing trends, employment statistics and access to amenities.

Englewood Cliffs was not graded.

Fourteen towns received A+ grades, including Ridgewood, the only Bergen County municipality to receive such a ranking. Three towns received D- grades: the Brookfield section of White Township; Blairstown in Warren County; and the Asbury section of Franklin Township in Warren County.
