Englewood Man Had 40 Bags Of Crack Cocaine 'Secreted' On Him, Authorities Say

Bobby Wheeler, 29, charged with possession and intent to distribute, prosecutor says.

An Englewood man was arrested after authorities found crack cocaine and a stun gun in his home Wednesday.

Bobby Wheeler, 29, was arrested after members of Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotic Task Force and several municipal police departments searched his home and found 40 bags of suspected crack cocaine “secreted on his person,” said Bergen County Prosecutor John L. Molinelli.

A representatives from Molinelli’s office did not return a phone call seeking comment.

Authorities found more crack cocaine, a stun gun, and digital scale, which are often used to measure narcotics, Molinelli said.

Wheeler was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine within 500 feet of a public housing complex, and possession of a stun gun.

Wheeler was remanded to Bergen County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.
