UPDATE: 2 'Very Friendly' Dogs Returned To Their Families

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — Police officers are looking after two dogs Wednesday morning and trying to get the dogs back to their owners.

The dogs, a possible labradoodle and a German shepherd mixed breed, were found in the Cross Creek development off of Broad Avenue, police said.

The German shepherd has a collar with a tag with the name "Jude" on it.

"We would love to have them reunited with their families in time for the holidays," police said. "They look to be very well cared for and loved members of a family."

The owner, or anyone with information on how to contact the owner, is asked to call the police department at 201-568-2700.
