ENGLEWOOD, N.J. — The police department will celebrate National Night Out with the community Aug. 2.

The annual event offers a way for community members to spend a safe evening with emergency personnel from their communities. Citizens get an opportunity to speak one-on-one with law enforcement officers and other emergency responders from their own cities and towns.

The event will be at Mackay Park from 6 to 10 p.m., rain or shine, police said.
