Englewood Restaurant Among State's Best

WYCKOFF, NJ – Two Bergen County eateries were named to NJ Monthly magazine’s 30 Best New Restaurants list.

Emma features classic Mexican comfort food but with a twist, like the hand-cut tenderloin-filled empanadas and grilled skirt steak with coffee jus and chimichurri emulsion, according to the list.

17 Summer is a small, 22-seat establishment owned by the brother and sister team of Jenna and Joseph Cuccia.

“Food is not meant to be pretentious. Food is meant to enhance your senses, heighten your emotions, and transport you to places you have never been,” said executive chef Joseph Cuccia.
