Epiphany Evensong in Englewood
Join us for the Fourth Annual Choral Evensong and Supper at Historic St Paul's in Englewood

You are invited to join us for Choral Evensong, Potluck Supper, and Burning of the Greens on Sunday, January 3 at 5 p.m. at Historic St Paul’s Church in Englewood. The service with be sung by the St Paul’s Choir School and the chorister program from Trinity Episcopal Church in Asbury Park.
St Paul’s Choir School, a musical and educational outreach of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Englewood, will be joined by the Trinity, Asbury Park Choristers under the direction of Diane D. Caruso. Mark Trautman, Director of Music at St Paul’s, will accompany the service. This is the fourth annual event for both programs. The chorister programs at the respective churches are affiliated with the Royal School of Church Music in America.
The Feast of the Epiphany is officially celebrated on January 6 and marks the end of the 12-day Christmas celebration. Traditionally, it celebrates the manifestation of Christ among all peoples and the visit of the Magi to the manger at Bethlehem. It is traditional to burn the Christmas greens at the conclusion of the feast, and there will be a potluck supper at the end of the service.
