Alleyne has ties to Englewood and Teaneck. He was reportedly seen near the King Gardens apartment complex in Englewood's Fourth Ward last month, but police have been unable to confirm that sighting, Torell said.

Alleyne's information has been entered into the National Crime Information Center in the hopes that a police officer somewhere will see him, Torell said.

Police are collecting DNA from family members as part of the investigation and hospitals in the tri-state area have been checked, Torell said.

Alleyne is African-American, 5'10" tall, weighs 311 pounds, and has black hair and facial hair. He was last seen wearing a blue checkered coat, blue sweatpants, and gray sneakers.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Englewood Police Department at 201-568-2700, or the department's Detective Bureau at 201-568-4875.
