Restaurateur Jerry Maher and
his partner, Kerri-Ann Sweeten, owners of HAVEN Riverfront Restaurant
& Bar, have named as Executive Chef Peter Larsen of Westwood, NJ.
HAVEN is scheduled to open October 9th in the new Edgewater Harbor
development.
"Peter's command of
ingredients and technique--paired with his love of cooking and years of
experience--are perfect for what we're creating at HAVEN. We're thrilled to
have him join our team and launch our latest venture," notes Jerry Maher. He
and Sweeten also own Hoboken waterfront landmark 3Forty Grill.
Chef Larsen is a graduate
of the Royal Culinary Academy of Copenhagen, Denmark. Most recently, he held
the positions of Executive Chef at The Goodwin (which he opened) and Artisanal
(both in Manhattan). Prior to that, Peter was Chef at Town (also in Manhattan)
and Nobu Las Vegas.

Located just 20 feet from
the Hudson River and midway between the George Washington Bridge
and Lincoln Tunnel, HAVEN features extraordinary
Manhattan skyline views; Modern New American cuisine with classic roots; a

Chef Larsen's menus for HAVEN beautifully balance local seasonal ingredients,
