Kiwanis Club of Eastern Bergen County sets meeting schedule
Looking for volunteers to help our community

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS - Kiwanis Club of Eastern Bergen County will hold their next meeting on Tuesday, August 6 at 12:30 p.m. at Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza, 10 Sterling Boulevard (Route 4 Eastbound), Englewood. They are always looking for new members to help with their community projects.
Their first scheduled project is a Food Drive at ShopRite, Sunday, August 4, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. They are seeking donations such as Hot/cold cereal, Fruit cups, Pancake complete mix, Pancake syrup, Hearty Soup, Canned Tuna or Chicken, Macaroni and cheese, Peanut butter, Grape Jelly, Pop Tarts, Granola/snacks and Meals in a can. ShopRite Gift Cards are also accepted. We are gathering food at ShopRite, in order to help children on lunch vouchers make it through the summer with enough to eat.
All donations will be given to the Bergen County Center for Food Action. Their Goal is 1,500 pounds of food! We will be looking for volunteers for three shifts – 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. for food transportation. We will also need volunteers for Monday to deliver food to Center for food action.

They will also be participating in "Englewood Day" on Sunday, August 18. They will set up a table for at this event. "Englewood Day" is held at Depot Square from 12:00 Noon to 4:00 p.m.

Their second monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 6:30 p.m., St Paul’s Episcopal Church, 113 Engle Street, Englewood.
