Leg Found In The Hudson River May Be Dead N.J. Woman's: Report

Raphael Lolos of Bergenfield has been charged with the murder and dismemberment of his girlfriend Jenny Londono of Edgewater.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — Part of a leg authorities say may belong to a dead Bergen County woman was found in the Hudson River Wednesday.

New York City Police found part of a leg in the river near West 59th Street at about 2 p.m., the NY Daily News reported.

According to the report, investigators believe the leg may belong to Jennifer Londono, 31, a bar manager from Edgewater who was last seen June 25 after closing the bar.

Londono's boyfriend Raphael Lolos, 40, has been arrested and charged with killing her. Lolos is also accused of dismembering her body after killing her and dumping the parts in the river. He has been charged with murder, desecration of human remains, hindering apprehension and credit card fraud, according to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office.

After learning that Londono was last seen and heard from while in Bergen County, NYPD detectives contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and began to jointly investigate the circumstances surrounding Londono’s disappearance and death.

In the days following the murder, Lolos consistently and repeatedly used Londono’s credit cards until the time of his arrest on July 6, authorities said.

Londono's remains were first spotted by a couple walking along Red Hook Channel in Brooklyn, according to a News4 report. Her head and hands were missing.
