Man Suffers Serious Head Injury After Explosion At Car Dealership: Report
Fire officials are investigating what caused the explosion.

ENGLEWOOD, NJ — A man sustained a serious head injury at the Ford dealership on Van Nostrand Avenue Wednesday morning after he ignited an explosion inside a room that stores waste oil, fire officials said.
The 53-year-old man works at the Ford dealership. He was inside the room when a flash fire ignited, which led to a small explosion, NorthJersey.com reported.
Authorities are investigating what caused the explosion, Deputy Fire Chief Erik Emersen told the website.

Emersen could not be reached directly for comment.
About 200 gallons of waste oil spilled during the incident, some of which went into a brook behind the dealership, according to the report. Firefighters and the Bergen County Haz-Mat team contained the rest of the spilled oil, the report stated.
