Music at St Paul's Presents 'An Album of Strings'

Join us on Sunday, March 8 at 4 p.m. for an intimate chamber music program featuring string trios by Schubert, Handel, Ludwig van Beethoven and Glière. Works presented on this program will feature literature from the baroque to the 20th century. Of special interest are Russian composer Reinhold Glière’s Pieces for Violin and Cello, Op. 39.

Violinist Hyun Jung Joo made her debut recital at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall as a winner of Artists International Special Presentation Awards. Her students have won national and international competitions, regional and All-State orchestras and accepted in pre-colleges of New York City.

Violinist Jee Sun Lee performs as guest soloist, recitalist, and chamber musician throughout the US, Russia, Italy and Korea. She is a member of Alacorde Piano Trio and the trio has performed extensively throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut.

Cellist Suji Kim has performed as a soloist with Seoul philharmonic orchestra and Montclair State University Orchestra. Solo recital highlights include a recital sponsored by the Kosciuszko Foundation, NYC and a fifteen-city recital tour across Korea. She has performed at major venues including Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall, Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, and more.
