What do Burger Loco, Tacos Verano and Cauliflower Tacos have in common? They’re just a few of the new items that Blue Moon Mexican Cafe introduced to its menu on Monday, October 17th. The family friendly restaurants, known for its menu of casual Mexican favorites plus a great beer selection, awesome margaritas and the best assortment of tequila, will introduce new entrees to its menu.

Joining the restaurant’s extensive menu of made-from-scratch items are new types of Tacos and for the first time, the juicy new Burger Loco which is a half-pound burger cooked to perfection and topped with pulled pork, fried onion straws, sliced jalapenos and the famous queso sauce. Then there is the Tacos Verano - grilled shrimp, pico de gallo, sliced avocado, pumpkin seeds, cranberries and topped with ancho aioli sauce. Blue Moon created the all-new Fish Tacos that are Modelo beer battered cod filets fried golden brown topped with Blue Moon’s delicious nopales tartar sauce and a fresh Mexican slaw. A healthier new menu addition is the Cauliflower Tacos where florets of cauliflower are pan sautéed with Blue Moon’s blend of Mexican spices, onions, corn, and roasted red peppers, black beans with an avocado hummus spread. In celebration of the new menu a Patron Barrel Aged Anejo Tequila bottled especially for Blue Moon will be offered as a specialty drink.
