Oktoberfest at The Community Chest to Offer Beer from Local Brewery
Attend Oktoberfest at The Community Chest this Wednesday and enjoy The Alementary Brewing Company's craft beers with Bavarian style food.

The Community Chest announces The Alementary Brewing Company of Hackensack will contribute two different craft beers for attendees to sample at the upcoming celebration, Oktoberfest at The Community Chest, on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. The local brewery opened six months ago with the goal of creating a neighborhood "watering hole". Owners Blake Crawford, a former chemical engineer, and Dr. Michael Roosevelt, a trained molecular biologist, wanted to introduce their new business to the public and also serve the community.
Oktoberfest at The Community Chest will be held at the Englewood Field Club, located at 341 Engle Street in Englewood, New Jersey from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The event introduces the launch of the nonprofit organization's 2016-2017 Annual Campaign.
The funds raised will support area nonprofit organizations that address a range of issues, including health and mental health, hunger, arts programming, the environment, volunteerism and other needs of more than 40,000 local residents of all ages hailing from Englewood, Tenafly and Englewood Cliffs. Since The Community Chest's founding in 1933, the nonprofit organization has carried out the goal of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” with increased generosity.
