Sing the Faure 'Requiem' at St Paul's
Come and join us as we prepare Gabriel Fauré's "Requiem" for All Saints-All Souls Day.

Come and join the St Paul’s Choirs as we prepare Gabriel Fauré’s ”Requiem” for performance on Sunday, November 1 at 5 p.m. The St Paul’s Choir, a semi-professional ensemble of adults, and the St Paul’s Choir School will join forces for a performance of the work accompanied by organ, harp, and violin. All voice parts are welcome and scores will be provided.
St Paul’s in Englewood has observed All Souls Day since the 1940s as a time to give thanks to loved ones who have gone before us. There will be an opportunity to read the names of loved ones who have died during the program, which will be a service of Vespers.
This will be the sixth All Souls presentation under the direction of Mark Trautman. Mr Trautman was appointed Director of Music at St Paul’s in September 2010 and founded the St Paul’s Choir School in 2012. The St Paul’s Choir School is a tuition-free choral outreach for area children ages 8 through high school. Mr Trautman previously served as Director of Music at Christ Church in New Brunswick and Artistic Director and Conductor of the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra.
