Splish Splash Doggie Day Care & Salon

Splish Splash Doggie Day Care & Salon was founded on the premise of providing a service to the Englewood community, said manager Andreas Galvis.

“We wanted to provide a service where people can go to work or go on vacation and leave their dogs to a reliable source instead of leaving them at home,” Galvis said. “We want to help out the community in any way that we can.”

Located at 95 West Palisade Ave., the 4,000-square-foot facility offers grooming, training, daycare, overnight and boarding services. Unlike many traditional dog kennels or dog hotels, Splish Splash offers an open area for the dogs.

“The dogs are free to play with each other,” Galvis said. “Most daycares cage them in all day, but we like to provide our dogs with a social and relaxed environment.”

According to the Splish Splash policy, dogs are grouped in play groups based on their activity level, temperament, age and size.

Splish Splash also offers a series of training services, including basic dog training, puppy training and private dog training lessons. It also features seminars with experienced training instructors. Seminar topics include Potty Training, Puppy Socialization, Behavior and Manners and Loose Leash Walking.

Professional Photography is another aspect of Splish Splash Doggie Day Care that enhances the variety of services provided by the business. Using the latest photographic equipment and props, the professional photographers at Splish Splash offer a range of photo packages.
