Alexandra Fernandez Named as New STAC Admissions Counselor
(SPARKILL, NY—December 9, 2015)--St. Thomas Aquinas College recently appointed Alexandra Fernandez to the position of Admissions Counselor, announced Samantha Bazile, director of admissions.
Fernandez (Teaneck, NJ) graduated from Loyola University Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in comparative cultures and literary studies. In her new role, Fernandez will be responsible for recruiting undergraduate students, reviewing applications from her territory and working with accepted students and their families on the admissions and financial aid processes. She will also assist in the coordination of various campus events hosted by the admissions team.
“Alexandra has assumed a strong supporting role for prospective STAC students in her new position as Admissions Counselor,” Bazile said. “She will represent the College throughout various parts of Westchester and the Hudson Valley and assist in driving initiatives to enroll students. We’re happy to have Alexandra as a key member of our admissions team,” Bazile added.

During her time as a student, Fernandez served as an intern for Repertorio Espanol in New York City, and was able to use her fluency in Spanish to translate and edit manuscripts for a community based student program.
Prior to joining St. Thomas Aquinas College’s admissions team, she was employed as a paraprofessional at New Milford High School (NJ).
