Tenafly Woman Crashes Into Englewood Restaurant

Police: 68-year-old driver uninjured following "parking mishap."

 

A Tenafly woman was uninjured after she crashed through the front window of a local restaurant while attempting to park her car Sunday morning, Englewood police said.

The 68-year-old woman, whom police did not identify, was attempting to park her car at approximately 9:40 a.m. in front of Pawana Thai Cuisine, located at 63 Nathaniel Place in Englewood, when "she hit the gas instead of the brake,” said Englewood Police Sgt. Anthony Wilson.

The restaurant was closed at the time, Wilson said, calling the incident a “parking mishap.”

Police have cleared the scene and secured the broken window, said Wilson.
