• Restaurant Week 2026 Begins This Weekend! (ewingnj.org) — Ewing’s fifth annual Restaurant Week runs April 25 through May 3, bringing special menus and discounts to many favorite local spots across town. From long-time staples like Revere Restaurant and Firkin Tavern to newcomers like Rocco’s and IHOP Ewing, residents can sample America 250–themed deals, try new places, and support neighborhood businesses all week long.
   

• Road Work Alert (ewingnj.org) — Grand Avenue in Ewing Township will be closed to through traffic weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for milling and resurfacing starting around Monday, May 4, 2026. Drivers will be detoured via nearby streets, while residents and emergency vehicles will still have access as Mercer County upgrades the deteriorated roadway.
   

• Black Bear Sightings (ewingnj.org) — Recent black bear sightings in Ewing, including on Nursery Road, have officials urging residents to secure trash, pet food, and bird seed and to report any aggressive behavior to Ewing Police. State wildlife experts stress that hungry bears are emerging now, and that properly managing food sources is the best way to prevent dangerous encounters in local neighborhoods.
