1 Hospitalized In Bergen County Rollover Crash On GSP

SADDLE BROOK, NJ - One individual is hospitalized as a result of an overturned vehicle crash on the Garden State Parkway in Bergen County on Wednesday night, authorities said.

On Wednesday at 10:51 p.m., New Jersey State Police troopers responded to a single-car crash on the ramp from I-80 to the Garden State Parkway north in Saddle Brook, New Jersey State Trooper Brandi Slota told Patch.

Based on an initial investigation, a BMW was traveling on the entrance ramp to the GSP north and lost directional control causing the vehicle to overturn, Slota said.

There was one person inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. The driver was transported to an area hospital for “precautionary reasons,” Slota said.

The crash remains under investigation. It was not immediately clear what the motorist’s condition was as of Thursday morning.
