A 73-year-old faces multiple charges after he damaged a car, threw a brick through a door, and threatened someone's life, police said.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — A 73-year-old man is facing terroristic threats charges after he damaged a car, threw a brick through a storm door and threatened to kill another Fair Lawn resident over the weekend.
Police arrived at an Alwood Place residence at 8:36 a.m. Sunday after the resident reported damage to his vehicle, which appeared to have been scratched and dented with an "unknown sharp object." A back rear window had also been shattered, police said.
Officers responded to the same location an hour later after Michael Mann, 73, threw a brick through the front storm dorm of the home, and threatened to kill the resident while holding a knife, police said.
