BCUA Hosts Composting Demonstration and Bin Sale Sunday
The one-day compost bin sale will be held Sunday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bergen County Community Services Building in Paramus.

Bergen County residents who are interested in recycling yard waste via backyard composting, but lack the equipment and the know-how are invited Sunday to attend a one-day compost bin sale and demonstration.
The Bergen County Utilities Authority-sponsored event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bergen County Community Services Building, located at 327 E. Ridgewood Ave. in Paramus.
In addition to Earth MachineTM composting bins -- which will go for $53 each (no credit cards) and can be used to compost fruit and vegetable scraps, crushed eggshells, tea bags, coffee grounds and filters -- other compost materials will also be available for sale Sunday.
