Board of Education Swears in Rosenberg as New President
The Fair Lawn Board of Education held its reorganization meeting on Monday night
The swore in Michael Rosenberg as its new president during a reorganization meeting on Monday night.
"My goal on the Board of Education is to make sure that every student in Fair Lawn gets a qualty education while keeping in mind the economic times for the taxpayers of Fair Lawn," Rosenberg said.
Rosenberg is beginning his fifth year on the board. He is also a member of the borough's Historic Preservation Commission, and a past president of the . Rosenberg replaces Eugene Banta, who served as president for two years.

The board swore in Susan Gioia, John Mancinelli and Elyss Frenkel for new terms. Gioia is a newcomer to the board, while Mancinelli and Frenkel have served for 18 and 16 years, respectively.
Also on Monday, Cindy Jo Yuskaitis was sworn in as a new vice president. Gioia, Mancinelli and Frenkel were elected last Wednesday, when Fair Lawn voters for 2011-2012.
