Authorities ID Body Found In NY Giants Player's Fair Lawn Home
A body was found at the home of New York Giants player Janoris Jenkins Tuesday, police have confirmed.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — Authorities have identified the body found at the home of New York Giants player Janoris Jenkins Tuesday.
The body has been identified as Roosevelt Rene, 25, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office announced Tuesday night. Rene is a family friend of the residents who live at the Van Saun Place house and had been living there of late, authorities said.
The Bergen County Medical Examiner's Office is trying to determine the cause and manner of death, authorities said. Officials are continuing their investigation.

A call came in about a dead man's body at the Van Saun Place home shortly before 10:30 a.m., said Fair Lawn Police Sgt. Brian Metzler.
Jenkins was not in New Jersey when the body was found, TMZ reported.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, the Bergen County Sheriff's Office, and the Fair Lawn Police Department were at the house investigating the death, Metzler confirmed.
Metzler said Jenkins has been living in the house since he joined the Giants. Public records show four people, including Jenkins, live at the residence.
