An investigation by the prosecutor's office in May found that Guberovic had been in a fight with five men at the club made famous by The Sopranos prior to being hit by a car. According to the Prosecutor's Office, the altercation involved Ardian Hoti, Fero Hoti, Julio Pena, Christian Reyes and Kevin Agudelo, all of Ridgefield Park.

The altercation left Guberovic "incapacitated" in the left lane of Route 17 South, and the five men did nothing to remove him from the road, authorities said. Guberovic was eventually struck by the car driven by Wood, which killed him, the Prosecutor's Office said. Read more: Strip Club Fight Leads To Charges In Fair Lawn Man's Death
