Narcotics: P.O. Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on River Road at Range Road and arrested the operator, Corry Marte, age 22 of Paterson, after crack & cocaine were handed over during questioning. He was released after being charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, failure to yield to a pedestrian, operating with tinted windows & operating with a suspended license.

Narcotics: P.O. Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on Route 208 North at Harristown Road and arrested the operator, Trevor Ward, age 42 of Pearl River, NY, after heroin, cocaine, suboxone & amphetamine were handed over during questioning. He was released after being charged with 4 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a hypodermic needle, unsafe lane change, careless driving, failure to wear a seatbelt & operating with a suspended license.

Obstruction: Fair Lawn Police responded to The Dutch House, 24-07 Fair Lawn Avenue, after a report of two intoxicated patrons were attempting to leave on motorcycles. When P.O. Geovanny Buitron arrived on scene, the motorcycles both fled the scene. They were pursued into Saddle Brook where they were lost at the time. During the investigation and with assistance from the Saddle Brook Police Department & Bergen County Sheriff’s Department, they were able to identify both parties. Nicholas Jacobson, age 24 of Saddle Brook, and Nicholas Ryan, age 23 of Middlesex, turned themselves into Fair Lawn Police Headquarters. Both were released after being charged with eluding, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, speeding, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to signal a turn, failure to maintain a single lane, failure to obey a traffic signal & operating with a noisy muffler.
