Fair Lawn Cutters to Grace the Izod Center Hardwood Monday, Following Harlem Globetrotters

's boys basketball team will take to the Izod Center floor on President's Day, with a 4 p.m. game against Northern Highlands to follow a 1 p.m. contest featuring the famed Harlem Globetrotters at the East Rutherford arena.

Discounted tickets to see the Globetrotters—who combine athleticism, theater and comedy on the court—are available on a limited basis for $19 through Fair Lawn High. For tickets, call the school's athletic department at 201-794-5450 ex. 1005 on Saturday between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Otherwise, tickets will be available at the Izod Center box office on game day Monday. The Cutters' contest against Northern Highlands was originally scheduled for Tuesday but got pushed up to give students the rare opportunity to play in a professional arena, Athletic Director Cory Robinson said.

"It's something that they'll remember forever," Robinson said.

Robinson added that the game would not have been possible without Superintendent Bruce Watson, High School Principal James Marcella, and the Board of Education.
