Fair Lawn Dad Charged After Child Ingests Narcotics: Prosecutor
The child's mother was charged earlier this week after the unresponsive two-year-old was taken to an area hospital in early August.
FAIR LAWN, NJ — A mother and father are facing child endangerment charges after the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office said their two-year-old child ingested controlled substances.
Ramon Vargas, of Fair Lawn, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with one count of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child.
This arrest comes after an unresponsive two-year-old was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center in late August, where they tested positive for "illegal controlled dangerous substances," according to the prosecutor.
