Board of Ed Approves New Fair Lawn Football Coach
New head coach Amir Saadah, who played linebacker in Fair Lawn, comes to the football program from Hawthorne High School

Amir Saadah, who graduated in 2000 and played four years at linebacker for the Cutters, was officially hired as his alma mater's head football coach at Thursday night's meeting.
Saadah replaces Stan Myles, who in January resigned for family reasons after four seasons as coach. A University of New Hampshire alum, Saadah spent the last six years as a defensive assistant coach at Hawthorne High School.
"I'm very excited about this young man coming on to the staff and working with us," Superintendent Bruce Watson said.

Fair Lawn's football team finished 3-7 in 2010. The Cutters opened the season with a 25-6 victory over Big North Conference Liberty Division-rival Passaic, but dropped six straight games before getting back in the win column against and . They wrapped up the season with a loss to Vernon in a state consolation game.
