Fair Lawn Resident Competes at 2014 Transplant Games of America

Liver transplant recipients, Michele Dabal of Morristown and Bonnie Farbstein of Fair Lawn, both Gold medalists in Women’s Tennis Doubles, share their shine at the Transplant Games of America. The games took place recently in Houston. Both women are part of Team Liberty, a program of NJ Sharing Network that comes together for the bi-annual Transplant Games of America. And all year long the team promotes the success of organ transplantation, and raises awareness about the urgent need for organ and tissue donation. Nearly 5,000 people in New Jersey are awaiting life-saving organs.
