The softball team continued its torrid play Wednesday, picking up a pair of wins at the .
The Cutters (12-7) opened up the twin bill with a thrilling 3-2 victory over Northern Highlands in a showdown of Big North National division rivals. Marissa Spinuzzi went the distance for a complete game win.
After a short rest, Fair Lawn earned its second victory of the day with a 16-0 win over Lincoln High School of Jersey City under the lights. The Cutters quickly put the game out of reach with an 11-run first inning. Spinuzzi and Kristina Licamara had two RBI apiece and pitcher Keli Meerholz struck out five in a two-hit shutout.

With the victories Fair Lawn has now won four-straight games and six of its last seven. The highlight of the stretch, a 2-0 over Paramus Catholic on Tuesday.
