Former NJ Nets Player Exposed Himself On Public Trail: Police
BREAKING: Doug Overton is facing counts of indecent exposure and disorderly conduct after the April 30 incident in a Philadelphia suburb.
LOWER MERION, PA – Former New Jersey Net Doug Overton was arrested in a Philadelphia suburb on after he allegedly exposed his genitals on the local Trail, authorities said. Overton is facing three counts of indecent exposure and one count of disorderly conduct, according to court records.
Overton, 47, of Philadelphia, was charged on April 30 by Lower Merion Township Police and released the same day on $10,000 unsecured bail.
Several witnesses told police they saw a man on April 30 on the Cynwyd Trail with his penis exposed on the trail, according to the Delaware County Daily Times. Police were able to locate the suspect who was later identified as Overton, The Times reports.

Overton played for the New Jersey Nets in 1999, and played for the 76ers from 1996 to 1998 and in 1999
He also coached for St. Joseph's from 2006 to 2008.

Overton is set to appear for his preliminary hearing on May 23, court records show.
