Man Who Tried Entering Fair Lawn School ID'd As District Employee
Breaking: The man is a buildings and grounds worker and employee of the Fair Lawn Board of Education.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — The man who tried entering Warren Point School Monday has been identified as a building and grounds worker, police announced Friday.
The man is an employee of the Fair Lawn Board of Education, Sgt. Brian Metzler said.
Police received a report about a man who walked up to a door on the 30th Street side of the building, knocked on the door and motioned for students to let him in, Metzler previously said.

Fourth-graders who were reading in the hallway and stairway on the south side of the building saw the man, Metzler said. The man then went to the playground-side of the building and did the same thing and then walked away from the school.
