MSG Varsity Seeks Fair Lawn's Finest Performers for Talent Show
Submissions to the "America's Got Talent"-style show will be accepted through Jan. 13

MSG Varsity's Talent Show -- a television competition that crowns the most talented high school performers via audience vote and is open to all high school students throughout Cablevision's New York, New Jersey and Connecticut viewing area -- is back for a second season and seeking student submissions.
Students can submit auditions online in four categories—male vocalist, female vocalist, vocal ensemble and dance ensemble— through Jan. 13.
Contestants who'd like the opportunity to audition live for individual male and female vocalist spots can do so at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10 at in Wayne. Those interested in live auditions can log onto the show's website -- www.msgvarsitytalentshow.com -- to sign up for an audition time.

A panel of experts will then select a total of 32 acts -- eight in each of the four categories -- to perform on “MSG Varsity’s Talent Show.”
Each week during the show, which is hosted by 2007 "American Idol" semifinalist Jared Cotter, fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite performances until a single champion is named for each of the four categories.
