Kevin Codey of Danbro properties said the ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday.
Construction should take about 18 months, he said.
Sprouts is known for its healthy and organic food. They feature varieties such as gluten free. The chain has five other locations in New Jersey, but this will be the first in Bergen County.
Earlier this year, the town of Fair Lawn told residents that the construction will change the flow of traffic.
"Please use caution in the area and follow posted detour signage," officials said. "Thank you for your patience as this project moves forward." READ MORE: Dollar Tree Demolition Will Change Traffic Patterns
