Fair Lawn Recreation Department's resident theatre company, OLD LIBRARY THEATRE, announces performance dates for The Wizard of Oz Youth Production.
The production is directed by Jo Ann Ventor with Musical Direction by Anthony Bevilacqua, Choreography by Anna Ventor, Produced by Craig M. Tiede and features Chloe Hoban, Katie Bennorth, Will Flamm, Michael Ricciardi, Jessica Scheeler, Alexandria Pagan, Jack McAvoy, Elli Anderson, Joshua Hanstein, Cassidy DeMona, Clyde Dee Drew, Annika Wilber, Kyle Wilber, Brianna Montero, Will Anderson, Jordan Hanstein, Corinne Minunni, Mia Farinella, Julia Rocklein, Sofia Hernandez, David Hernandez, Julia Maimone and Agnus the dog playing Toto.
This American Musical Fantasy that launched Judy Garland's career has been enticing audiences since the 1930's. Set in Kansas and then the magical land of Oz we follow Dorothy a little lost girl as she attempts to reach the Wizard with the hopes to return home. Along the way she makes enemies and friends and learns the lessons of courage, intelligence and love.
Performances dates are Friday May 16 and Saturday May 17 both at 7:00pm and Sunday May 18 at 2:00pm. Full information and tickets can be found at our web site or by calling the theatre.

Old Library Theatre was started in 1967 by a handful of dreamers who wanted to make the joy of theatre performance available to everyone. It is a community theatre organization committed to producing quality productions at an affordable price.
