• Fair Lawn brings centuries old tradition back with first-ever Junior Town crier competition (news12.com) — Fair Lawn students from kindergarten through high school filled the town with ringing cries of "Oyez!" during the first-ever Junior Town Crier Competition, part of the borough's America 250 celebration. Led by award-winning Town Crier Tim Yuskaitis and paired with an international adult contest, the event let kids write and perform their own announcements while learning how communities once shared important news.
