Pregnant Mom, Toddler 'Lost Everything' In Saddle Brook Fire
7 people lived in the house that is now uninhabitable.

SADDLE BROOK, NJ — A 9-month pregnant woman and a 2-year-old were among the seven people displaced when a fire severely damaged their home Saturday.
A gofundme campaign has been launched to help Brittany and Joe, their 2-year-old, Brittany's parents, her brother and his baby.
The family evacuated the home before police arrived, Saddle Brook Police Chief Robert Kugler said. The fire was quickly extinguished.

More than $1,500 has been donated to the gofundme campaign. The goal is to raise $50,000.
The fire appears to have started in a detached shed and spread to the house, Kugler said.

Police reported that the back part of the house and detached shed were "full engulfed in flames," the chief said.
The family was "extremely lucky the fire began when it did, should it of happened during the late night or early morning hours, the potential for tragedy or other serious consequences could of been a reality," Kugler said.
