Rec Department Announces Mother's Day Card Contest Winners

The has announced the three winners of its annual Mother's Day Card Contest.

The contest, which received about 45 entries, was open to all children in grades K through 5, who were asked to make their own specialized card for their mother or relevant guardian on Mother's Day. All cards had to include a cover and an inside personal greeting.

The winners of this year's contest were:

• K – 1st Grade Division- Cassidy Cauwels, First Grade (Warren Point School)
• 2nd - 3rd Grade Division – Erika Toliao, Second Grade (Milnes School)
• 4th - 5th Grade Division – Nandini Jani, Fourth Grade (Radburn School)

All winners received a $25 check and flowers for their mother.
