school security

This morning the auditorium door of Thomas Jefferson Middle School was wide open an unattended.  I asked school office staff about it and they didn't think it was a big deal!  Thankfully I ran into principal on way out and alerted her to the security breach and she shut the door.  I think Bruce Watson should stop talking about security and make sure that all schools follow procedures.  I mean that's why he gets paid the big bucks...right? oh and let's not forget about his $5000.00 month merit pay on top of his salary for keeping the budget down...by skimping on our kids, by the way.
