The Fair Lawn High School Class of 2014 announces events for the 47th Annual Marathon, a senior class effort to give back to the community.
Originated in 1967, members of the high school senior class plan activities with the goal of raising money for local charities, as well as other charitable organizations that are being researched by the senior class Marathon Committee The community is invited to support this senior class effort by attending the exciting events, including fun run/walk, and/or by making donations.
Marathon Food Nights, where a portion of the proceeds are donated to Marathon, will take place at: Qdoba Mexican Restaurant, Fair Lawn Promenade, Rt 208, Fair Lawn. This year Qdoba will be donating 100% of the proceeds to the Marathon on May 8 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm. On May 15 Giovanni's Deli, Morlot Ave, Fair Lawn will be hosting an event from 5 - 8 pm.
Marathon weekend is May 16 and May 17 at Fair Lawn High School, 14-00 Berdan Avenue, Fair Lawn, will include two days for games, music, food and fundraising. Enjoy fresh, hot food off the grill, snacks, sweets and beverages. Marathon T-shirts are available for sale in all sizes.
Donations of merchandise, food and drinks are being accepted. All local schools and organizations are invited to participate in the games and contests.
