Two Fair Lawn Students Complete Senior Experience at The Valley Hospital
Interniship program designed for those with an interest in healthcare
Two Fair Lawn students who were seniors from the Bergen County Academies in Hackensack recently completed their Senior Experience at The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, an internship program that provides learning opportunities beyond the school campus.
Kiren Srinivasan and Anna Vaigast were among 13 students who participated in the program.
The students, who are planning careers in healthcare, spent one day a week during the school year at Valley. Based on their interest, they rotated through three clinical departments under the supervision of Valley mentors. Their efforts culminated in a Senior Exhibition where their shared the results of their learning experiences.
