Sophomore Tennis Sensation Vies for State Individual Title [VIDEO]

Valerie Shklover is unbeaten in school play this year

Undefeated? That's nothing. Fair Lawn sophomore tennis phenom Valerie Shklover has yet to lose a set this year.

Amateur tennis ranking service, the Tennis Recruiting Network, has the reigning Bergen County Large Schools Girls Tennis Champion ranked second in the state, 11th in the Middle Atlantic Region and 63rd nationally among girls in the Class of 2014.

Fair Lawn varsity tennis coach Matt Markman said he thinks she's got a great chance to win the state individual title this year after falling in the quarterfinals last year as a freshman.
