VIDEO: Play Ball! Fair Lawn's First Opening Day Parade

The Fair Lawn All-Sports Association waited a long time for this.

Finally, on Saturday, the organization was able to kick off the spring/summer season with its First Annual Opening Day Parade around the .

The parade stepped off at the Vanderplaat Field Tennis Courts at 10:30 a.m. The youngest to the oldest players, sporting their crisp new uniforms and soaking up the sunshine, moved around the field complex led by their coaches.

Mayor Lisa Swain tossed out the first pitch at noon. Over 900 boys and girls participate in the All-Sports Association's leagues, from kindergarten age tee-ballers to teenage senior leaguers.
